Lucy Newell
Lead Vocals
I have been singing and performing on stage since the age of 5. I studied Performing Arts at College and Uni and then went on to become Lead Female Vocalist at Pontins. I was also a Vocalist Entertainer in Ibiza regularly performing my own Cabaret shows leading to my Equity membership. I've been singing in various bands for over 22 years and currently sing in an acoustic duo with my husband.

Martin Lovell
Guitar, Backing Vocals
I learnt cello at school, played in various orchestras then joined a rock band in mid 1980s at Brunel Uni. (T-pau, Blondie style). Played vaiety of gigs mixing bass, rhythm and lead guitar and some keyboard/synth playing. After a lengthy pause for day job and family I got back into playing in a band through website BandMix. I joined covers band Hepsonic on guitar 2017-2019 playing festivals and pubs in Berkshire. More recently I released songs on Spotify during the pandemic as the Alan Martin Project https://open.spotify/search/the%20alan%20martin%20project
Acted as bass dep for @selinaandthehowlingdogs at The Harlington, in Fleet, Hampshire in March 2022 supporting Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band. I'm a founding member of the Daydream Collective from 2021 and I record, mix and master all the music published by the band.

Dan Tickner
Keyboards, Backing Vocals
I've played bass in bands across the vibrant streets of Bristol. As a keyboard player I also play in a number of bands across the music scene in Berkshire and beyond. As the MD behind not one, not two, but three choirs I enjoy working with others who bring harmony to the county. From performances in school musicals to thrilling productions, I have a huge passion for music. With an insatiable love for every genre, I thrive on jamming with the coolest and grooviest musicians around creating grooves in every note we play.

James Smith
Bass Guitar
James and his bass made their live debut nearly 240 years ago in the hall of the secondary school he attended. Performing in front of his peers, the feeling he got that early evening looking up from his fretboard and seeing their heads bobbing and legs a-grooving was one of great joy and one that has stayed with him throughout his life. James has played with numerous bands since, always aspiring to recreate similar feelings to those he initially felt.
To affect people through music, especially as part of a band can be a profound and beautiful thing and is something I will continue to do for as long as I am able - he said.

Steve Bowers
Drums & Percussion
Born from thunder, forged in fire and raised by the once believed extinct sabre toothed tiger. An event so unfathomable created what can only be described as a pure bred sticksman of unquestionable mastery that few have dared to question it. Those who have, have not escaped the wrath of sonic boomery.
Nobody bangs harder, nobody!
This is Steve. Steve has never had a drum lesson in his life, but he gets by, and nobody's said anything - yet! He likes music, all sorts of music, just not that annoying song by Moloko..

Maria Glenister
Backing Vocals (new in 2024)
Having emerged from a 30-year deep sleep, Maria finally decided to join the musical world by singing with a comedy group before securing her position as co-writer, singer & hosho shaker in original afro-fusion band, Limpopo Groove, headlining several local festivals. Soon after, she joined Zimbabwean cover band Sungura Magic, then a capella group Readiophonics, who won Let’s Sing 2020. Known for her many fans (of the material kind) she’s featured on various albums and enjoyed playing main stage at festivals including Zimfest and Readipop. Her musical highlights include; warming up the crowd for New York group, Too Many Zooz; singing with Sam Dondo on the same stage as Zimbabwean legend, Thomas Mapfumo; singing with Steve Morano supporting Geno Washington at Bunkfest and…learning to play bass. Being in only 2 bands with James wasn’t enough, so she swapped her old cover band for The Daydream Collective and hasn’t looked back since!
